After failing to win the war against Russia on both the economic and battlefronts, the US and its Anglo-Saxon allies in Europe have resorted to infiltrating the Russian Army and corrupting it from within. This is why we witnessed a rebellion led by Wagner.
The economic war has been a loss for the US and its allies. They underestimated Russia’s capacity not only to withstand the pressure but also to counteract the effects on Europe. History has shown that every economic action has two sides, affecting not only the intended target but also the side that initiates it.
Germany and France have learned this lesson the hard way. Germany supported the sanctions to weaken Russia’s economy, but instead, its own economy has contracted for two consecutive quarters, leading to one of its worst depressions in recent memory. France has been actively encouraging Russians to betray and rise up against their government, but it is the French masses who have taken to the streets since 2020.
Overall, the physical and economic toll of the war has been enormous for the US and its allies, impacting almost every European economy more than the intended target, Russia. The conduct of the war, including the management of economic mobilization, economic warfare, economic exploitation, and economic sanctions, has left the US and Europe poorer, less secure, and more unstable than Russia. What they had intended for Russia is now happening to them!
This has come as a surprise to the trigger-happy capitalists in Washington who believed Russia would be defeated by now. Little did they know that Russia had prepared for this war more thoroughly than anticipated. In the lead-up to the conflict, Russia stockpiled gold, expanded its influence, and fostered friendship and cooperation with resource-rich countries in Asia and the global South.
With the war now running for over a year, and Russia deliberately prolonging it to not only defeat Ukraine but also exhaust and cripple European economies, its victory appears increasingly certain. As this realization sinks in, it becomes apparent that economic warfare has only strengthened Russia’s economy, making it more self-reliant. Furthermore, Russia is also gaining ground on the battlefield.
Unwilling to accept defeat, the US and its allies have resorted to immoral warfare. They are now employing all their institutions, including political, economic, military, and social ones, to achieve their sinister objectives.
On the media front, media propaganda networks, and, of course, corporations like Facebook Meta, Twitter, Google, and others, are not only monitoring global activities but also spying on their own citizens, particularly those who oppose the war. On the organizational front, the US has mobilized its industrial complex, including its NATO allies and humanitarian organizations such as the IMF, World Bank, Transparency International, and others, to aggressively oppose Russia.
Instead of engaging in direct conflict with Russia, they have recognized that Russia’s contacts, connections, and alliances have been instrumental in its resilience against economic and military warfare. Consequently, they have redirected some of their aggression towards countries they perceive as supportive of Russia.
South Africa serves as a prime example. Despite South Africa maintaining a non-aligned policy, the US and its European allies like Poland have taken great offense and are now targeting and punishing South Africa. Uganda, too, whose senior military officers have expressed support for Putin and Russia, has faced military pressure.
The country has experienced unexplained domestic incidents resulting in the deaths of over 30 schoolchildren, and foreign missions have witnessed Al-Shabaab attacks that claimed the lives of over a hundred Ugandan peacekeepers in Mogadishu. These incidents should not be viewed as isolated, especially in light of Uganda’s pro-Russia stance.
Nonetheless, the backdoor decision to leverage WAGNER against Putin has revealed the desperation of the US and its allies in their attempt to defeat Russia. Fortunately, the plan has failed. The Russian people saw through the smokescreen and refused to buy into the attempted coup, instead standing in support of their President, Putin.
Now, the leader of WAGNER has been exiled, and the over 50,000 WAGNER forces will be integrated under the Russian Ministry of Defense, ensuring a more disciplined WAGNER. With this final attempt to overthrow Putin thwarted, the Russian leader has taken a bolder and more certain step towards military victory in Ukraine.
This is good news for China, Africa, and the emerging multipolar world. Had WAGNER succeeded in toppling Putin, the anticipated multipolar world order resulting from Russia’s victory would have been derailed. The US and its allies would immediately redirect their aggression towards China.
In Africa, where they have been involved both overtly and covertly in fostering insecurity, particularly in West Africa, instability would only escalate, given that Russia, through WAGNER, has recently brought stability to these regions. Moreover, the US and Europe would intensify their exploitation, looting, and pillaging of African resources, as they require them for their planned war against an economically robust China.
Fortunately, as things stand now, Russia is prevailing. This signifies a victory for Africa and the rest of the world, as Russia’s success becomes increasingly real and imminent, heralding the end of US hegemony and the emergence of a multipolar world order.
